Karan Johar’s much-awaited Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri trailer is out, and fans are excited. This is the first time Kartik Aaryan is working with Dharma Productions after the Dostana 2 setback. Johar hasn’t directed the film, but it is produced under his banner. Sameer Vidwans (who directed Kartik in Satya Prem Ki Katha) directs this romantic drama. Ananya Panday plays the female lead.
The trailer is nearly 200 seconds long. It mixes nostalgia with modern romance. Fans will spot references to classic films like Shah Rukh Khan-Rani Mukerji’s Chalte Chalte, Rani Mukerji-Saif Ali Khan’s Hum Tum, and Ayan Mukerji’s Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani.

As per the trailer, the story begins with Kartik Aaryan (Rehaan “Ray” Mehra), a charming NRI from Los Angeles. He meets Rumi Vardhan (played by Ananya), a headstrong best-selling author. Their relationship starts with friction, as Rumi calls Ray “stereotypically annoying.” Fate traps them together on a yacht and sparks fly. The trailer shows funny moments, dance sequences and romantic tension that pulls the audience in.
The second half moves to a wedding scene, reminding viewers of classic Bollywood romances. Kartik is heard saying, “Marriage, giving away the daughter and… farewell. A girl is expected to leave behind her entire life in an instant. But why should it always be the girl who leaves her home?”
In another scene, Rumi says, “I am not where you are currently. And can never be.”
The trailer ends with a question – “How long can you wait for your love?” It hints at heartbreak, humourand emotional drama. Fans are left wondering if their love can survive family pressures and societal expectations.

What To Expect From This Kartik Aaryan Starrer
Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri follows Ray and Rumi’s chance meeting during a holiday in Croatia. Their “enemies-to-lovers” romance grows quickly. But back in India, family pressures, cultural expectations and different views on commitment challenge their relationship.
The film also features Neena Gupta as Ray’s mother and Jackie Shroff as Rumi’s father. Aruna Irani, Tiku Talsania, Chandni Bhabhda, and Lokesh Mittal play key supporting roles. Directed by Sameer Vidwans and produced by Dharma Productions, the soundtrack by Vishal–Shekhar adds extra emotion and charm.
