Google is getting ready for its much-anticipated Made by Google event in New York City on August 20, 2025. This is where the Pixel 10 Pro, its newest flagship smartphone, will be publicly unveiled. The event will begin at 1:00 PM ET and will be livestreamed on the Made by Google YouTube page. Fans and tech enthusiasts from all over the world will be able to watch as the new devices are shown off.
The Google Pixel 10 Pro Pro will go on pre-order the same day as the event, and it should be available in stores starting August 28 in most big markets.
Tensor G5 chip will be used in the whole Pixel 10 series
There will be four Pixel 10 models: the Pixel 10 (regular), the Pixel 10 Pro, the Pixel 10 Pro XL, and the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, which can be folded up. All of the types will have Google’s new Tensor G5 chipset inside them. It was made using a 3-nanometer process, which makes it faster and uses less power. The series should work with Android 16 right out of the box, which will give it better AI and more advanced software features.

The Pixel 10 Pro will have a 6.3-inch LTPO OLED screen with a resolution of 1.5K and a response rate of up to 120Hz. It will also have advanced AI-powered shooting improvements made by Google.
It is said to have a battery capacity of about 4,870mAh and allow 29W fast wired charging for quick charges.
Price ranges, colour choices, and market positioning
Moonstone Grey, Obsidian Black, and Porcelain White are the three colours that the Pixel 10 Pro will come in. According to Google, the Google Pixel 10 Pro will have a reasonable price point so that it can compete with high-end phones like the iPhone 17 Pro and the newest Samsung models.
What to Look Forward to After the Pixel 10 Pro
Google is also likely to announce the Pixel Watch 4, new Pixel Buds, and improvements to its AI software environment at the event, in addition to the Pixel 10 series. This will give the event a full product lineup.
