Sehri (Pre-Dawn Meal) Diet
According to Dietitian Nisha Arora, start your day with a healthy morning drink.
Prepare a glass of water with one spoon of turmeric and boil it. Drink this in the morning.
You can also drink jeera (cumin) and cinnamon water as an alternative. It is the best morning drink.
Drink at least 4 to 5 glasses of water before eating Sehri food.
Eat multigrain chapati (roti) with paneer bhurji (scrambled cottage cheese).
Replace regular tea with green tea for the whole month.
To avoid dehydration, include curd (yogurt) in your Sehri.
You can have oats chilla (oats pancake) or apple shake.
A boiled egg with green tea is also a good option.
Iftar (Breaking the Fast) Diet
When breaking the fast, follow these healthy food choices:
Start Iftar by eating two dates (khajoor) and one coconut water.
Drink at least 4 to 5 glasses of water after this.
You can also drink lemon and chia seed water or detox water.
Include curd-based vegetable raita with potatoes for better digestion.
For dinner, eat food with less oil and focus on more lentils (dal) and salads.
