Sukesh Chandrashekhar: Conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar has been arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in another case of money laundering. He was arrested for allegedly duping ex-Reigare promoter Malvinder Singh’s wife Japna Singh n Rs 3.5 crore. He has now been sent to nine-day ED remand by Delhi’s Patiala House court.

Rs 200 crore money laundering case
Sukesh Chandrasekar had duped Shivinder’s wife Aditi Singh and Malvinder’s wife Japna Singh worth over several crores of rupees by posing as an officer from the Union Law Ministry.
The women had claimed to have paid Sukesh crores of rupees to secure bail for their husbands and ensure their safety.
Chandrasekhar and his associates took money from Aditi after posing as government officials. They promised to secure her husband a bail and persuaded her to transfer money by impersonating a central government official over a spoof call. This all happened while he was in jail.

Sukesh Chandrashekhar was also involved with Bollywood actor Jacquline Fernandez. Post his arrest, their intimate pictures had gone viral suggesting they were in a relationship. In a statement to police, Jacquline had later revealed that Sukesh had fooled her as he told her he was the owner of sun tv ad a nephew of later actress J Jayalalithaa.
Recently, he was produced before the court in the money laundering case where he told reporters: ‘Wish her a happy Valentine’s Day from my end’
Chandrasekhar and his wife Leena Maria Paul were arrested by the Delhi Police in September last year for their alleged role in the duping case.
