Amit Shah credits Modi for India’s G20 success, breaks silence on Adani controversy

Amit Shah: Amit Shah, the Union Home Minister of India, recently in an interview he spoke about the upcoming assembly elections in Tripura, Meghalaya, and Nagaland, as well as the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. In the interview, Shah expressed his confidence that the BJP will win all upcoming elections, and he believes that the BJP will face ‘no competition’ in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. He praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his efforts throughout his tenure and stated that the people fully support Modi to return him to power.

Shah also discussed India’s ongoing G20 presidency and said that India is hosting around 200 meetings this year across 32 different sectors, and the credit for the G20 success will be given to PM Modi. He praised Modi for organizing the event in a way that the whole world is watching with surprise. Shah stated that other countries have not been able to take G20 series of meetings outside four-five cities but India has given a chance to every state and not a single state or union territory is left out in this big country.

Shah’s response to allegations of favouring Adani group

On the topic of the ongoing allegations of the opposition parties regarding the Adani Group, Shah broke his silence and said, there is nothing to hide or be afraid of. He said that the government is not biased towards the Adani Group and is working towards the country’s progress. He also expressed his confidence in the BJP’s performance in upcoming elections in northeast states of Tripura, Meghalaya, and Nagaland as well as Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Chhattisgarh.

Amit Shah defends the ban on the Popular Front of India

Shah also spoke about the ban on the Popular Front of India (PFI) and said that the ban was in the ‘national interest’ because the organization promoted ‘radicalism and religious bigotry’ and attempted to prepare ‘raw material for terrorism’. He said that the government has successfully banned PFI from rising above vote-bank politics, and any delay in action would not have been in the national interest.

Jammu and Kashmir statehood will be restored after assembly elections, says Shah

In the interview, Shah also expressed concern about restoring statehood to Jammu and Kashmir. He said that the restoration of statehood to Jammu and Kashmir will come up after the assembly elections, and the Election Commission will make a decision on the timing of the elections. Shah claimed that Article 370 pertaining to Jammu and Kashmir harmed the country, which led to the abrogation in 2019 by the central government.

BJP’s majority in Tripura will be established before 12PM on counting day

Finally, in response to questions about a possible hung assembly in Tripura, Shah stated that the constituencies in Tripura are small and said you will see that the BJP would have crossed the majority mark before 12PM on counting day. Shah expressed his confidence in the BJP and said that the people of India are in support of the BJP, and they will continue to work towards the progress of the country.
