Arunachal Pradesh: 7 Indian Army personnel trapped in avalanche in Kameng sector, rescue operation underway

Cars are stuck everywhere due to snow lying on the roads. In Himachal and Uttarakhand, there are reports of road closure due to snowfall. Electricity and water supply has also stopped. This has had a great impact on the common man’s life.

The Disaster Management Authority of Himachal Pradesh said that 102 water supply schemes of the state have been disrupted, as well as 1365 power supply schemes have also been affected. From Himachal-Uttarakhand to Delhi and Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar and West Bengal are being hit by similar weather. The rain in the cold season has increased the cold further. On the other hand, the Meteorological Department says that such conditions will remain for a day or two more.
