Bharat Jodo Yatra: Heartwarming Hug between Rahul Gandhi and Kharge Goes Viral, shows unity in the party

Bharat Jodo Yatra: Although the Congress Bharat Jodo Yatra came to an end in Srinagar, it left a trail of unaddressed concerns of the public, energised party members, controversy, and the ardent optimism that the grand old party may create a fight in the general elections the next year.

Congress observers believe the yatra has provided some of the answers the party was seeking as it headed into 2024, but there are still important doubts about whether it will result in future election gains. However, besides the political turmoil and the internal issues with the party, the picture has certainly cleared that INC is reforming positively.

As Wayanad MP and former party president came to Kashmir for the last leg of the Yatra, many fun pictures and videos were captured. One of them including Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi poking fun at each other with snowballs went viral. However, now a picture shared by the official Instagram handle has gone viral. The picture includes the present party president Mallikarjun Kharge hugging Rahul and giving a positive smile. Both of them sported a shawl and appeared pleased upon seeing each other.

After beginning on September 7 of last year and travelling over 4,000 km in over 140 days, the yatra reached its end just at Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) headquarters in the Lal Chowk region of Srinagar with the raising of the national flag.

Rahul Gandhi spoke at 13 news conferences, over 100 corner meetings, and 12 public gatherings during the yatra. Meanwhile, h e interacted over 275 walking exchanges and over 100 seated interactions.
