Earthquake tremors occurred on the border of Myanmar and India on Friday morning. These tremors of the earthquake were also felt in Kolkata, the capital of West Bengal and Thenzawl in Mizoram. It is being told that the magnitude of the earthquake here was 6.1 on the Richter scale. However, there is no news of loss of life and property from anywhere.
According to the European Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC), the epicenter of the quake was 174 km east of Chittagong, Bangladesh.
Tremors of the earthquake were also felt in Bangladesh. Along with Bangladesh, these tremors were also felt in West Bengal and Mizoram. According to news ANI, the tremors of the earthquake were felt at 5.15 am, 73 km southeast of Thenzawl, Mizoram.
