Fog Update: Shift in foggy conditions on cards, rains to improve visibility, details here

Fog Update: With January nearing its end, the fog conditions are also decreasing in several regions. However, due to a western disturbance, things were expected to go more troublesome. As per the latest update by IMD, rains are likely to lash several regions in the North for a couple of days more, though, the effect of fog has been reported to be lesser.

Over Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Assam, Meghalaya, Mizoram, and Tripura for the next 24 hours, dense fog conditions are extremely likely to occur at isolated locations during the morning and night. Read below to know more on the latest fog update here.

Delhi

IMD predicts that the visibility in the national capital will drop to 500 metres during the early morning hours. However, it will improve up to 1500 metres as noon approaches. The intensity is lower in comparison to yesterday.

Lucknow

Lucknow, too, has shown signs of improvement. As per the latest fog update, the visibility in Lucknow will be 600 metres in the morning and then gradually up to 1500 metres in the later part of the day.

Jaipur

Jaipur will remain fog-free today. A major part of this season has remained free from fog this season and only a few days saw it being intense.

Amritsar

IMD has predicted that Amritsar will have a visibility drop of up to 800 metres in the morning. However, after the morning, it is predicted to improve up to 1300 metres. Though, the temperatures in the city are likely to stay lower.
