The Legislative Assembly has passed the bill introduced by the Haryana government for 75 percent reservation to the people of the state in the private sector. The bill was introduced by Haryana Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala. In this bill, this law will be applicable for jobs with salary up to 50 thousand months. According to the bill, there is also a provision for imposing penalties on companies that do not comply with this enabling law. This rule will be applicable in private companies, firms, trusts etc.
According to the information, now 75 percent of Haryana’s private jobs will be reserved for the youth of the state. The draft (ordinance) of the ordinance attached to it was approved by the cabinet (6 July). The state’s Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala had put the ordinance in front of the cabinet to make mandatory recruitment of 75 per cent of local youths in private jobs in the state, which was later passed.
The State of Haryana provides local candidates 75 per cent reservation in employment in the Employment Bill, 2020 for local people in private sector jobs with salaries below Rs 50,000 per month.
The bill was introduced in the Assembly on the first day of the two-day session by Deputy Chief Minister and JJP leader Dushyant Chautala.
JJP, a coalition partner in the state government, promised 75 percent reservation in private sector jobs in its election manifesto.
On this big decision, Haryana Deputy CM Dushyant Chautala said on Twitter that we have fulfilled our promise. He wrote in his tweet,
“Our promise to lakhs of youth of Haryana has been fulfilled today. Now 75% of all private jobs in the state will be Haryana youth. This moment came exactly one year after becoming part of the government, it is emotional for me. I always serve you with the inspiration of Jannayak and with your support, this is my wish. “
