Special Foods Served to Lord Ram
The Lord Ram was served special foods like kachori, gujhiya, puri, kheer, etc. The priest decorated Lord Ram with colours, then scattered flowers among the worshippers and engaged in a floral version of Holi.
The main priest of the Ram Janmabhoomi temple, Acharya Satyendra Das, expressed his profound satisfaction ahead of the Holi celebrations over the vast number of devotees who had come to get Ram Lalla’s darshan. For Holi, Ayodhya‘s temples were decked out in flowers. Notably, numerous other temples throughout the city were decked out for Holi 2024 in addition to the Ram Temple.
Monasteries and Ashrams
Aside from this, every monastery and ashram has made unique preparations for this year’s festivities. Other temples, such as Dashrath Mahal, Kanak Bhawan, Hanuman Garhi, etc., will also be very magnificent on this day. The home of Lord Rama’s father was Dasharatha Mahal in Ayodhya.
