India reacts after North Korea fires record number of missiles

North Korea, enraged by the air maneuvers of America and South Korea, warned of dire consequences. After this, ballistic missile tests were conducted on Thursday. Even before this, North Korea has conducted dangerous missile tests many times. India’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations Ruchira Kamboj has expressed concern over this. She said such launches are a direct violation of Security Council resolutions. This is affecting the peace and security of not only that region but also of other countries.

The dictator country is creating unrest around by imposing North Korea and conducting dangerous missile tests. Recently it tested ICBM ballistic missile. After this test, Japan and South Korea opposed it. India’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations Ruchira Kamboj said that she has expressed great concern over this. Raising the issue in the UN, she said that the missile launch is in violation of the Security Council resolutions related to the DPRK. She said that these affect peace and security in the region and beyond. India asked North Korea to abide by the relevant UN Security Council resolutions.

She further said that earlier also we have expressed our concern over the ballistic missiles launched by the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK). We have seen reports of another launch of ICBMs by DPRK on 2nd November, after which we are again reiterating our stand. We reiterate our support for the non-use of nuclear weapons in the direction of peace and security on the Korean Peninsula, in which we all have an interest. The global situation has changed completely at this time. The Russo-Ukraine War has affected the strategy and foreign policy of many countries.

A few days ago, South Korean officials said that North Korea has fired an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM). This missile has been made to target the targets present on other corners of the world. But the Yonhap news agency quoted sources as saying that the missile seems to have failed mid-flight. However, North Korea did not give any information about this. Dictator Kim, who is constantly doing such acts due to which South Korea and Japan are in tension. Apart from this, such testing is also a big threat to other countries. North Korea has launched an ICBM for the seventh time this year. After this launch, there is concern that North Korea may soon test a nuclear weapon.
