Janmashtami 2022: Janmashtami is a significant Hindu festival. It is celebrated all around the country on the Ashtami tithi of Krishna Paksha of Bhadrapada month. Krishna admirers across the country fast, pray, and worship the Lord on this day.

The Hindu festival of Janmashtami celebrate the birth of Lord Krishna, according to Hindu scriptures. The day is considered a blessing due to the formation of a special astrology yoga.

People in Maharashtra celebrate the festival by participating in the ‘Dahi Handi’ festival. The festival is celebrated with great enthusiasm in Mathura, the birthplace of Lord Krishna.

Date Of Krishna Janmashtami 2022

According to Vedic Panchang, asthami tithi will begin at 9:21 p.m. on August 18 and end at 10:59 p.m. on August 19. and therefore, Krishna Janmashtami will be marked on August 18.

On august 18, Nishith puja should attained from 12:02 a.m. to 12:48 p.m.

Notably, if sunrise is used as the basis, some people may be celebrating Janmashtami on August 19. It is important to note that Ashtam tithi lasts only until 10:59 p.m. Because Lord Krishna was born at midnight, his birthday is celebrated on August 18.

Puja Vidhi Of Krishna Janmashtami 2022

Hindus all over the world celebrate the holy festival of Janmashtami with great joy. Krishna devotees fasts and sing kirtan to please the Lord and commemorate the brith of God, temples with Krishna idols are arranged with ballons and other decor.

Many people who keep Ladoo Gopal, Lord Krishna’s baby form, at home dress up the Lord with new clothes for the Celebration.

On this day, Khoya Prasad is offered to the God, and Panchamrit is also made.
