Kannada actor Chetan Kumar arrested over Hindutva remark

Chetan Kumar, the famous actor of Kannada films, is currently in a lot of controversies due to one of his tweets. Due to this tweet made against Hindu religion, he has been arrested on Tuesday.

Actually, on March 20, Chetan Kumar made a controversial tweet against Hinduism on his official Twitter handle. Raising some important points in this tweet, Chetan claimed that Hindutva is based on lies.

Chetan wrote, ‘Hindutva is built on a complete lie. Savarkar – Indian nation began when Ram defeated Ravana and returned to Ayodhya – Lie, 1992 Babri Masjid is Ram Janmabhoomi – a lie, 2023 Urigowda – Nanjegowda is Tipu’s killer – a lie, Hindutva can be defeated with truth Yes- Truth is equality.’

Bajrang Dal member complained

Now this tweet of the actor is becoming increasingly viral on social media. The Bengaluru police arrested Chetan only after objections from many users.

According to media reports, a member of Bajrang Dal has lodged a complaint at Seshadripuram police station in Bengaluru. After this, the actor was arrested on Tuesday morning.

Often Chetan Kumar remains in headlines due to his controversial statement. In the past, he had said something about Hijab, due to which the actor got caught in legal tussle.

In fact, at that time the actor was accused of saying some controversial words against the High Court judge during the hijab controversy, due to which the police arrested Chetan Kumar at that time too.
