Artist and comedian Shyam Rangeela has landed into trouble for his recent video. A notice has been served to Shyam Rangeela to appear before the Regional Forest Officer, Jaipur. Shyam had shared a video of himself in which he was seen feeding a nilgai in the city’s Jhalana Leopard Reserve. He was seen dressed in an attire similar to that of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s jungle visit. The video has now gone viral.
Shyam Rangeela dresses akin to PM Modi
In the now-viral video, the comedian filmed himself dressed similarly to Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his recent jungle safari in Karnataka’s Bandipur Tiger Reserves. Shyam was served the notice for allegedly violating Wildlife Protection Act provisions while feeding a nilgai during a jungle safari in Jaipur’s Jhalana.
Shyam was seen wearing a hat, sunglasses, and a half-sleeved jacket, similar to how PM Modi appeared during his recent trip to the Karnataka jungle safari. PM Modi had taken to Instagram to share glimpses of his safari pics.
Legal actions against Shyam Rangeela
Janeshwar Chaudhary, the regional forest officer for Jaipur, said that a video of the Jhalana Leopard Reserve was posted on the Shyam Rangeela YouTube account on April 13. He is seen getting out of his car and feeding animals. It is against the Wildlife Protection Act of 1972 and the Forest Act of 1953 to feed or provide food to wild animals, he said. By broadcasting the video, he also incited other people to do the same, the official added.
