Lok Sabha Election 2024: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi illuminated the party’s electoral promises while launching a scathing attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) during a rally in Rajasthan on Thursday. Addressing a crowd gathered in support of the Congress candidate in Bikaner, Gandhi pledged to deposit Rs. 1 lakh annually into the bank accounts of every woman living below the poverty line, equating to a monthly allowance of Rs. 8,500.

He highlighted the growing economic disparity in the country, noting that while 22 individuals possess more wealth than 70 crore Indians, the government imposes taxes on farmers for the first time in history.
Drawing attention to the pressing issues of unemployment and inflation, Gandhi lamented the lack of media coverage on these critical matters. He accused the BJP of freezing Congress bank accounts and alleged collusion between the ruling party and influential industrialists.
In a rallying cry for change, Gandhi rallied behind the Congress party’s commitment to championing the cause of the marginalized and fighting for the rights of farmers, youth, and women. He urged the electorate to support the Congress candidate in the upcoming elections, emphasizing the importance of addressing the needs and aspirations of the common people.
