MiG 29K Crash: After experiencing a “technical malfunction,” an Indian Air Force (IAF) MiG 29K fighter jet crashed over the Goan coastline. Although the detailed cause of the crash is still unknown, it has been reported that the pilot was compelled to eject after the aircraft experienced a technical issue mid-flight.
A Board of Inquiry (BOI) has been mandated to look into the cause of the MiG 29K crash today, according to reports. According to the Indian Navy, the jet’s pilot has been rescued and is in stable condition.
When a problem with the Indian Air Force’s MiG 29K fighter jet occurred, the pilot was flying over the ocean off the coast of Goa. After a routine sortie, the pilot was reportedly making his way back to base.
The Indian Navy stated in a formal statement, “Pilot ejected safely and was recovered in a swift search & rescue operation. Pilot is reported to be in a stable condition.”
