PM Modi to hold meetings with NDA MPs from today to kickstart preps for Lok Sabha Polls 2024

While the Opposition bloc INDIA continues to target the Centre over the Manipur situation, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has begun preparations for the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections that are scheduled to take place next year. The Prime Minister is scheduled to hold parleys with groups of MPs from the National Democratic Alliance (NDA). These meetings will take place between July 31 and August 10.

NDA MPs divided into 10 groups

At the recent NDA meeting, the partners in the ruling alliance are set to come together for the upcoming elections in 2023. BJP hosted a meeting in the national capital last week which saw the MPs splitting up into 10 groups to discuss the journey ahead. According to party sources, brainstorming sessions on political events were held ahead of the general elections next year. The move aimed at bringing NDA partners together for better coordination as they work towards a common goal of forming the government again next year.

PM Modi to hold meetings from today

The Prime Minister will hold a meeting in the Clusters group. The Prime Minister will meet with MPs from West Uttar Pradesh, Bundelkhand, and Brij region in the Cluster-1 meeting. The meeting will take place at Maharashtra Sadan on Monday at 6 pm.

In the Cluster 2 meetings, MPs from West Bengal, Jharkhand and Odisha will be in attendance. The meeting is scheduled to take place at 7 pm on Monday at the Parliament Annexe building.

Meanwhile, Union Ministers Nitin Gadkari, Amit Shah, and Rajnath Singh along with BJP chief JP Nadda have been handed over with the responsibility to coordinate with the NDA leaders.

Bhupendra Yadav, Sarbananda Sonowal, Tarun Chugh, and Rituraj are designated with the task to manage NDA programmes, while Pralhad Patel, Arjun Ram Meghwal, and V Muraleedharan have been associated with them for assistance.
