PM Modi: On Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi declared that on October 31, the anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s birth, a new independent organisation dedicated to youth and young-led development, called the “Mera Yuva Bharat” platform would be unveiled nationally.
PM Modi’s Call to Youth for Registration
Modi urged the youth to register on MYBharat.Gov.in, highlighting the ways in which they may actively contribute to the development of their country through this platform. In the 106th episode of his popular monthly radio programme Mann Ki Baat, the Prime Minister addressed the nation on Sunday, October 31, the day of Sardar Saheb’s birth, laying the groundwork for a nationwide platform.
Empowering India’s Youth
PM Modi said, “MYBharat will provide an opportunity for the youth of India to play an active role in various nation-building events. This is a unique effort to integrate the youth power of India in building a developed India. Mera Yuva Bharat’s website My Bharat is also about to be launched.” The announcement that the government would establish a platform to help young people develop their leadership abilities and become social innovators and community leaders was made by the Union cabinet approximately two weeks ago.
Empowering the Youth Aged 15-29
It was noted that youth between the ages of 15 and 29 could benefit from the platform, which would promote youth and youth-led development. In addition, the PM remembered the anniversary of Prime Minister Indira Gandhi’s passing on October 31 and offered his “heartfelt tribute.”
