Rajasthan issues ‘modified lockdown guidelines, eases restrictions

The Rajasthan government has decided to further relax the lockdown implemented in the state in view of the decline in the number of corona infected and the infection rate. For this, the Home Department issued guidelines on Monday which will be effective from Tuesday. Under this, now government and private offices in the state can be opened till 4 pm with the presence of 50 percent personnel.

Along with this, the movement of private vehicles has been exempted. Public parks can be roamed from 5 am to 8 am and shops and commercial establishments of permitted category will also be open from 6 am to 4 pm from Monday to Friday. However, public discipline weekly curfew will continue from 5 pm on Friday till 5 am on Monday till further orders. On other days of the week, there will be a public discipline curfew from 5 in the evening to 5 in the morning the next day.

According to the official statement, under this guideline, it has been decided to further increase the relaxation in restrictions from 5 am on Tuesday, June 8. Under this, the operation of roadways and private buses will be allowed in the state from June 10. City bus and mini bus service running within the city will be banned. No person will be able to travel standing up. At the same time, the movement of private vehicles will be allowed from 5 am to 5 pm from Monday to Friday.

Permission will be given to work in all industries and units related to construction, so that the migration of the working class can be stopped. Shops of agricultural inputs and agricultural implements and their premises, mandis, shops of fruits and vegetables and flower garlands, street vendors, thadis, street vendors and sale of other goods and materials through hand carts and glasses shops from 6 am to 4 pm every day will be allowed to open.

At the same time, the state government has not allowed any public, social, political, sports, entertainment, educational, cultural and religious functions and processions, fairs and haat markets.
