There is a possibility of attack on the Nagpur headquarters of RSS, Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorist reckons

An alert has been issued for a terrorist attack at the RSS Headquarters in Nagpur. It has been learned that a terrorist of Jaish-e-Mohammed has conducted a recce of the RSS headquarters. It is not yet known whether the terrorist has been apprehended or not. Nagpur Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar has told that a few days ago such information was received that a Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorist had recently conducted a recce of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) headquarters. He said that in view of the possibility of Jaish attack, the security of the RSS headquarters has been increased. An alert has been issued in Nagpur after the inputs received from the intelligence agency.

Terrorists can plan attacks or explosions to target crowded places as well as markets, as well as the premises of high-profile politicians and security forces during Republic Day and during assembly elections, as per inputs received by security agencies. Security agencies have said in their issued alert that various groups of terrorists and anti-social elements are likely to attack or explode the premises of security forces, crowded places/markets, railway stations, bus stands, religious places, important installations and high profile leaders.

Security agencies have asked security forces to remain alert after receiving inputs of terrorist attacks during Republic Day and assembly elections. Following the input, the agencies have issued a detailed alert for the Republic Day celebrations in the capital and other parts of the country along with officers and soldiers deployed in the election states. A detailed report compiling the inputs in the alert was shared with the security forces.

In the alert, senior officers have been asked to be prepared for the security exercise, response in the event of a sudden attack, keeping necessary coordination with all the supporting agencies. Along with this, the soldiers have already been asked to inform about such a situation. Along with this, all control rooms should be operated round the clock for quick exchange of information and effective coordination.

They have been asked to maintain close liaison with intelligence agencies and civilian police in the area, apart from activating their own sources to get information timely. So that any terrorist incident can be thwarted.
