The much-awaited Vande Bharat Train on the Katra-Srinagar route is all set to transform travel between Jammu and Kashmir. As per a News18 report, PM Modi is expected to flag off this high-speed train on 17th February 2025. Currently, travelers can only reach Srinagar from Katra by road, which takes around 8 to 10 hours. With the launch of this train, the journey will be significantly reduced to just 3.5 hours. This development is expected to benefit both tourists and locals, making travel faster and more comfortable.
