Weather Update: Rains in Kolkata and Dehradun, Check What's in Store at Delhi

Weather Update: A rainfall warning has been issued by the India Meteorological Department (IMD) for multiple regions of the country. The precipitation is predicted to start on March 16 and last until March 21, 2024. It is probable that Arunachal Pradesh may see light to moderate snowfall or rainfall in various places. West Bengal, Jharkhand, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Sikkim, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura are among the states that are probably going to be affected by this. Meanwhile the capital city of West Bengal and uttarakhand also likely to have rainfall. Moreover, rain is anticipated in Ladakh, Jammu & Kashmir and elsewhere. The national capital is expected to get mild to moderate rainfall, as the India Meteorological Department has already issued a warning.

According to IMD, there will likely be isolated thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds (30–40 kmph) over Gangetic West Bengal, along with scattered to fairly widespread rainfall. Over Jharkhand, Odisha, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, and East Madhya Pradesh, there was isolated to scattered light to moderate rainfall along with thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds. East Madhya Pradesh and Vidarbha are also likely to have an isolated hailstorm. Over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim, isolated light rain or snowfall is extremely likely to occur.
