Weather Update: Caution! IMD Issues Yellow and Orange Alerts for THESE States; Details Here

Weather Update: According to the India Metrological Department, Maharastra will face very heavy rainfall in the next few days. The metrological department has issued an orange alert for six Maharastra districts: Thane, Raigad, Ratnagiri, Nashik, Pune, and Satara.

IMD has also issued Yellow Alert for Delhi and Mumbai, stating that the southwest monsoon has arrived there. Palghar and Thane are also under yellow alert, and IMD asks for caution in these areas.

IMD has also issued heavy rainfall warnings in Uttarakhand till July 5 and the same warning for Himachal till July 1. The citizens are asked to be safe as the rainfall can increase at any time.

Delhi

According to IMD, the city recorded the season’s lowest temperature yesterday. The temperature will gradually decrease, and Delhi will face a cloudy sky with moderate rainfalls all over the city. The lowest temperature predicted for today is 27.

Mumbai

It will be a cold day in terms of temperature in Mumbai. But isolated parts of the city are under the possibility of heavy or very heavy rainfall. Citizens are asked to be cautioned. The temperature will be between 28 degrees and 27 degrees.

Chennai

IMD has issued thunderstorm warnings in various parts of the city while a few schools remained closed due to heavy rainfall. The trend will also continue today, with the temperature between 36 degrees and 28 degrees.

Kolkata

The local metrological department has forecast rain throughout the city. Many isolated areas of the city will face moderate rainfall. The temperature will be between 30 degrees and 28 degrees.
