Weather Update: After a lacklustre August, signs of monsoon revival are emerging across various parts of the country. According to the India Meteorological Department’s (IMD) special G-20 bulletin, the summit venue, Bharat Mandapam, can expect generally cloudy skies with the possibility of very light showers or drizzle on September 9-10.
Thunderstorms are predicted across several regions, including Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Uttarakhand, Jammu-Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, and Haryana. Western and southern Madhya Pradesh may experience substantial rainfall, while western Rajasthan is anticipated to see maximum temperatures reaching 40 degrees Celsius or higher.
As mentioned above, the national capital will witness a mostly cloudy sky until the evening. Light drizzle or showers are anticipated in the region as well. For today, the maximum temperature will be 33 degrees while the minimum will be 26 degrees with humidity at 76%.
As per the latest weather update, thundershowers and heavy rainfall will continue in the city and suburbs. No relief has been forecast for the region as of now. For today, the maximum temperature will be 29 degrees while the minimum will be 27 degrees with humidity at 85%.
IMD has forecast that Chennai will be partly cloudy the entire day. However, thunderstorms will once again lash the region from early night. For today, the maximum temperature will be 34 degrees while the minimum will be 26 degrees with humidity at 81%.
Kolkata will remain engulfed in the clouds. Thunderstorms and rain will lash the region in the morning & afternoon. Later on, the day will largely remain pleasant. For today, the maximum temperature will be 32 degrees while the minimum will be 27 degrees with humidity at 77%.
