Weather Update: The IMD reported that a new western disturbance is expected to impact the Western Himalayan Region starting on March 19 and continuing through the night of March 20. As a result, isolated light to rain or snowfall has been forecasted over Jammu-Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Muzaffarabad. The skies in Delhi will be clear from March 19 through the following seven days, IMD, with the exception of the 21st and 24th. March 21 and 24 are predicted to have a rather cloudy sky in Delhi. It is evident that the temperature is rising despite the overcast skies. The national capital's minimum temperature will progressively rise over the following seven days, from 12.2 to 15 degrees Celsius.

IMD forecasts light to moderate rainfall that is scattered to fairly widespread on March 19, 2024, along with the possibility of isolated thunderstorms, lightning, gusty winds, and hailstorms with a top speed of 50–60 kmph over Gangetic West Bengal and Odisha. With thunderstorms, lightning, and strong winds over Jharkhand, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, East Madhya Pradesh, and Bihar, there has been light to moderate rainfall that has been scattered to fairly widespread. On March 19, 2024, there is a high probability of an isolated hailstorm over Jharkhand, East Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, and Chhattisgarh. It is likely that on March 19, there will be a thunder squall with a top speed of 50–60 km/h across East Madhya Pradesh. There is a good chance of isolated, intense rainfall on March 19, 2024, over Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Gangetic West Bengal(including Kolkata) and Jharkhand( Ranchi).
