Weather Update: According to the IMD, Delhi will see mostly clear skies during the day, with a high of about 36 degrees Celsius. Additionally, the Meteorological Department had also warned of the prospect of cloudy skies in the entire day and light rain in several areas including the country’s capital and Dehradun. Arunachal Pradesh is likely to have localised, extremely severe snowfall or rainfall. Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura had isolated, intense rainfall, along with Assam and Meghalaya. IMD forecasts light to moderate rainfall or snowfall over Arunachal Pradesh, light to moderate rainfall over Assam and Meghalaya, and scattered light to moderate rainfall over Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, and Sikkim. Isolated thunderstorms and lightning are also very likely.

According to IMD, there is a high probability of warm nights occurring in specific areas across Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, and Telangana. There is a good chance that there may be localised heat waves in Telangana and Rayalaseema. Over Rayalaseema, Kerala & Mahe, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry & Karaikal, hot and humid weather is most likely to prevail. There is a possibility of isolated thunderstorms with lightning and gusty winds (up to 30–40 km/h) over Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura. There may also be isolated lightning strikes over Arunachal Pradesh and North Interior Karnataka.
