Weather Update: The Indian Metrological Department (IMD) has predicted increasing rainfall or snowfall intensity from January 24 to 26, with the possibility of significant snowfall across the Western Himalayan Region and rainfall activity throughout the plains of Northwest India. There will be a temperature spike in several parts of East India.
A western disturbance will travel east between January 24 and January 26 toward the western Himalayan Region, carrying a lot of precipitation from the Arabian Sea. There is very certainly going to be some moderate rain on January 22 and 23 in the Western Himalayan area. It will rain or snow more often between January 24 and January 26, 2023, as a result of worsening rain intensity and dispersion.
Delhi
As per the IMD, light rain showers are predicted to take over the city while the sky continues to remain partly overcast. The intensity of fog is likely to get reduced at night. For today, the maximum temperature will be 23 degrees and the minimum will be 13 degrees.
Mumbai
There is no significant change in the weather trends of Mumbai, as predicted by the IMD. The city and its suburbs will continue to have a sunny and bright day, while there will be a slight increase in the temperature. For today, the maximum temperature will be 29 degrees, while the minimum will be 19 degrees.
Chennai
There is no major shift in the weather of Chennai. The sky will today be partly cloudy. For several upcoming days, this similar trend in weather is anticipated. For today, the maximum temperature will be 29 degrees and the minimum will be 24 degrees.
Kolkata
The day is predicted to be clear, however, fog is predicted to impact the natives during the night. Apart from that, the weather trend is also anticipated to be similar. For today, the maximum temperature will be 31 degrees while the minimum will be 19 degrees.
