Weather Update: Despite the warm start in September, the rainfall has turned the month cooler in several parts of the country. The national capital, hosting the G20 Summit, also received rainfall yesterday and is predicted to remain partially cloudy today. Meanwhile, continuous rains have been forecast for Mumbai and Kolkata.
There is a potential for thunderstorms in regions including Madhya Pradesh, Delhi-NCR, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, as well as Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, and Punjab. Additionally, Kerala is anticipated to experience heavy rainfall. Parts of Bihar are also expected to witness rainfall.
Delhi
As per the latest weather update, Delhi will remain partly cloudy the entire day. However, there are no chances of rain lashing the region. The upcoming week will remain the same as well. For today, the maximum temperature will be 31 degrees while the minimum will be 24 degrees with humidity at 82%.
Mumbai
The city and its suburbs are predicted to continue receiving the scattered thunderstorms. Intense rainfall will lash the region for the next several days. For today, the maximum temperature will be 30 degrees while the minimum will be 27 degrees with humidity at 88%.
Chennai
IMD has forecast that mornings will rather be partly cloudy until the evening. Later on, in the evenings, the sky will turn even more cloudy and there are chances of drizzles/showers in the isolated areas. For today, the maximum temperature will be 34 degrees while the minimum will be 27 degrees with humidity at 72%.
Kolkata
Kolkata will continue to experience its patches of scattered thunderstorms and rainfall throughout the day. At present, IMD has nor predicted any rainfall in the city. For today, the maximum temperature will be 33 degrees while the minimum will be 27 degrees with humidity at 87%.
