PM Fasal Bima Yojana: The sudden changes in weather conditions in several parts of Rajasthan have created big problems for farmers. Heavy rain along with hailstorms has caused massive damage to the crops. However, the state’s farmers could reap the benefits of an insurance claim under the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana if the report is submitted within 72 hours of the damage caused.

PM Fasal Bima Yojana-The Scheme

Under the PM Fasal Bima Yojana, the farmers of Rajasthan are protected against natural calamities like rainfall. If rabi crops are kept by farmers in the field for drying after harvesting and damages are caused, they are entitled to avail compensation under the PM Fasal Bima Yojana.

According to the State Agriculture Department, farmers are included under the insurance coverage if crops kept in the field for up to a maximum period of 14 days after harvesting get damaged due to unseasonal rain or any natural calamity.

To avail the compensation under the insurance facility, farmers of the state are required to submit a claim for crop damage within 72 hours of the damage caused. All insurance companies have been instructed by the Rajasthan Government to immediately start field surveys on receiving such information. This is done to ensure that the actual loss could be correctly assessed before timely payments of the insurance claims are made.

How To Get A PM Fasal Bima Claim?

Under the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana, the state’s farmers are given coverage for crop loss. If the losses happen due to natural calamities, the claim is paid by the insurance company.

Losses could be communicated on the helpline number 14447. Information could also be shared on the Krishi Rakshak Portal. Farmers may also inform the insurance company with which they have been registered under the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana.

While speaking to ANI, Waris Pathan reacted strongly to the film and said he does not watch movies that spread lies. He also claimed that such films are made only to earn money by creating hatred.

He said, “Main aisi bakwas aur propaganda film nahi dekhta jo sirf jhooth ki buniyaad pe banayi ho, sirf jhooth dikhaya gaya ho. Kuch chavanni chaap log aise hai, jo 2 rupiya kamane ke liye, sirf aur sirf nafrat batate hai jhooth failate hai aur uske siva kuch nahi aata unko dikhana (I don’t watch nonsense or propaganda films that are based solely on lies and that only present lies. There are some cheap people who, just to earn two rupees, only spread hatred and lies, and they have nothing else to show).”

Waris Pathan said he has not watched the film but heard through media reports that it shows events related to demonetisation. He added that during demonetisation, people had to stand in long queues and were told that terrorism would end, but according to him, that did not happen.

He further said, “Aur bas kuch nahi, Musalmano ko dikhado negative role mein. Picture banao toh entertainment ke liye picture banao, real history dikhao, insaan ko khush karne ke liye picture banao. Aap nafrat failane ke liye bana rahe ho. Kitna nafrat failana chahate ho iss tarah ki galich aur bakwas picture bana banake. Aise movies ke upar sarkar ko ruk lagana chahiye (And nothing else, just show Muslims in negative roles. If you make a film, make it for entertainment, show real history or make a film to make people happy. You are making it to spread hatred. How much hatred do you want to spread by making such vulgar and nonsensical films? The government should ban such films).”

He also said filmmakers should make movies on different subjects instead of repeating similar political stories.

The controversy around Dhurandhar 2 The Revenge started soon after its release. Several political leaders, social media commentators and film personalities have accused Ranveer Singh starrer of having a propaganda-driven storyline.

YouTuber Dhruv Rathee called the sequel “blatant propaganda” and said the film dramatically uses political events to support a certain narrative. He also criticised director Aditya Dhar and said the film shows intelligence operations and government decisions in a biased manner.

Some opposition leaders also reacted strongly. Congress MP Tariq Anwar described the film as a “hate agenda,” while party spokesperson Ameeque Jamei said the story looks too close to government messaging. Samajwadi Party MP Rajiv Rai called the film “fake propaganda,” and MLA Abu Azmi questioned whether such content is suitable for Indian audiences.

Leaders from Left parties also criticised the film. CPI-M leader Hannan Mollah and Vivek Srivastava said cinema should focus on storytelling and not be used to promote political views.

According to trade reports, the film earned Rs 102.55 Cr on Day 1 after collecting Rs 43 Cr from paid previews. On Day 2 (Friday), the collection dropped by around 20%, and the film earned Rs 80.72 Cr. With this, the total India net collection has reached Rs 226.27 Cr in just two days.

Despite the drop, the numbers are still very strong. Trade experts believe the film will see a big jump during the Eid weekend, and the total could go close to Rs 300 Cr in the first weekend itself.

The sequel follows Jaskirat Singh Rangi, played by Ranveer Singh, who takes a new identity as Hamza Ali Mazari and enters Pakistan as an undercover agent. The story shows his rise in the Lyari underworld and his transformation into the feared Sher-e-Baloch.
