The Haryana government is planning to run metro services on the proposed track of the Namo Bharat Train between Gurugram and Faridabad, which is part of the larger corridor connecting Gurugram to Greater Noida. The move is aimed at improving regional connectivity and strengthening public transport across major cities in the National Capital Region.

Officials said the plan includes running metro services on certain sections of the Namo Bharat track to make better use of the infrastructure.

The proposed corridor has a total length of about 64 kilometres, of which nearly 52 kilometres fall within Haryana. In Gurugram, the corridor will extend from IFFCO Chowk to Gwal Pahari, covering a distance of around 14.5 kilometres.

Under the proposed plan, eight metro stations are expected to be developed in Gurugram and ten in Faridabad along the route. An important interchange station will be constructed at IFFCO Chowk, where the Gurugram–Faridabad–Greater Noida Namo Bharat corridor will connect with the route linking Delhi to Shahjahanpur via Gurugram. A metro station will also be built at the same location.

Additional metro stations are planned at Sector-29, Sector-52, Wazirabad and Sector-57, while an important interchange facility is proposed at Sector-61. This location will serve as a junction for the Namo Bharat station, a metro station, and the proposed metro corridor connecting Sector-56 to Pachgaon.

After entering Faridabad, metro operations are planned on the Namo Bharat track for about 16 kilometres, starting from Sainik Colony and extending to Badshahpur. The first metro station in Faridabad under this plan is expected to be built at Sainik Colony.

Since the Namo Bharat Train operates at high speeds of 160 to 180 kilometres per hour, authorities have also proposed installing noise barrier systems in residential areas along the corridor. These barriers will help reduce noise levels in densely populated neighbourhoods through which the track passes.

Officials believe the integrated corridor will significantly improve connectivity between Gurugram, Faridabad and Greater Noida while providing faster and more efficient public transport options for commuters across the region.

During the latest operations, 30 individuals were persuaded to undergo de-addiction and rehabilitation treatment, reflecting the administration’s efforts to combine law enforcement with social support for those affected by substance abuse.

According to official data, a total of 53,383 drug smugglers have been arrested in the 377 days of the campaign, indicating the extensive scale of the anti-drug drive being conducted by law enforcement agencies.

The campaign forms a key part of the state government’s strategy under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann to combat drug abuse and strengthen public safety in Punjab. Authorities have urged citizens to cooperate with police and report any information related to drug trafficking so that timely action can be taken against offenders.

YouTuber Anurag Dobhal aka UK07 Rider is still in hospital and his health has suddenly become serious following a recent accident. The social media star had streamed the accident live on Instagram a few days ago, after which he was rushed to the hospital. At first, his condition was said to be stable, but his manager has now shared that his health has worsened because of a lung infection.

Anurag Dobhal Is Serious, Manager Asks Fans To Pray

Anurag Dobhal’s manager Rohit Panday has been posting regular updates on social media. In his latest post, he said the problem increased because Anurag’s lungs were partially damaged during the accident, which later caused a serious infection.

Rohit wrote, “Anurag Bhai’s condition was stable till this morning, but his condition has become serious and worse because his lungs were also partially damaged in the accident, and it developed a serious infection because of that (sic).”

He also confirmed that doctors have diagnosed the YouTuber with pneumonia, and he is under close medical supervision.

The manager added, “He has been diagnosed with severe Pneumonia. He is currently under the supervision of doctors. We request you all to pray for him (sic).”

How It All Started

As we all know, the health scare happened after his accident. Before that, Anurag Dobhal shared an emotional video on YouTube where he spoke about mental stress and family problems. The video was more than two hours long and later deleted from his channel.

In the video, Anurag said he was going through depression because of disputes with his family. He also accused his parents and brother of taking control of his property. The YouTuber said he was mentally exhausted and did not know how to deal with the situation.

He said, “Mere maut ke zimmedar mummy, papa, Kalam (brother) and Shreya. I have nothing left to do anything. I am under a lot of depression. Mujhe samajh nahi aaraha kaise yeh feeling eliminate karoon. Iss video ke baad shayad main gayab hojaaunga. Main bus sona chahta hoon. 5 din se kuch khaaya nahi hai, dimaag ekdum khatam hogaya hai.”

In the same video, he also said that his wife had left him after being influenced by others. He added that his child was the only reason he wanted to keep going.

After the accident, Anurag Dobhal’s wife Ritika visited him in the hospital and has been staying with him. Reports say the couple is expecting their first child, and Ritika is currently nine months pregnant.

The situation became more complicated because of the family controversy. Anurag’s brother Kalam Ink denied the allegations and said the YouTuber made such statements only for attention and views. Later, reports also claimed that Anurag’s father published a newspaper notice saying he had disowned both Anurag and his wife.

Ranveer Singh’s blockbuster film Dhurandhar is back with fresh controversy months after its release. The action thriller was one of the biggest hits of 2025 and crossed Rs 1,000 crore worldwide within just three weeks. However, ahead of the release of Dhurandhar The Revenge (Dhurandhar 2), the film has sparked fresh debate after actress Swara Bhaskar’s mother Ira Bhaskar criticised it during a public discussion.

Ira Bhaskar, who is a film scholar, said the film shows Muslims and Pakistan in a one-sided and violent way. She made these remarks during a conversation about the politics of modern Indian cinema. The discussion was hosted by activist and writer Harsh Mander on his YouTube channel Karwan e Mohabbat. Political science professor Harish Wankhede was also part of the panel.

Ira Bhaskar Questions The Ideology Behind Dhurandhar

During the discussion, Ira Bhaskar said that Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar reflects a strong ideological viewpoint. According to her, the film shows Muslims and Pakistan mostly as violent characters and spreads certain stereotypes.

She said that even though the film did very well at the box office, its story carries a clear political message. She added that the violence shown in the film supports a particular belief system.

Ira Bhaskar said, “Its violence is at the service of a belief structure of an ideology that Muslims are very violent people. Pakistan is a very violent nation. You don’t see any normal Muslim there. Everyone is a terrorist or a gangster. So these kind of perceptions about Muslims, it’s propogating this.”

Ira also questioned the way the film claims to be based on real events. She said the makers have selected only certain parts of history to support their narrative.

She added, “It’s a fiction film based on true events, supposedly. And it’s selective, as all these films are. It will only selectively choose what to put together in order to serve the ideology.”

Part 2 Gears Up For Release Amid Success And Criticism

Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar released on December 5, 2025 and became one of the biggest Hindi films ever. The movie reportedly earned around Rs 1349 crore worldwide and became the highest-grossing Hindi-language film in India. It also became the biggest A-rated Indian film of all time.

Many viewers praised the film for its scale, action and performances. However, some critics had a different opinion. A few reviewers said the film was too long and very violent. Others accused the film of pushing propaganda. Film critic Anupama Chopra called it “manipulative” and “dangerous,” which led to heavy reactions on social media. Political commentator Dhruv Rathee and some other public figures also criticised the film’s ideological message.

Despite the controversy, the film remained very popular with audiences. Now the makers are preparing to release the sequel, Dhurandhar The Revenge, on March 19, 2026. The new film continues the story of Ranveer Singh’s character Hamza Ali Mazari, who goes deeper into Pakistani criminal networks while trying to avenge the 26/11 attacks.

The sequel also stars Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, R Madhavan, Sara Arjun and Akshaye Khanna in flashback scenes. Advance bookings for the film have already shown strong demand, with reports saying paid previews have crossed Rs 50 crore worldwide.
