The controversy around Rajpal Yadav is once again making headlines. It now involves Sonu Sood and self-proclaimed critic Kamaal R Khan. The debate started after Rajpal reacted to Sonu‘s earlier comments about offering him work during his legal troubles.

Rajpal Yadav recently walked out of jail after getting an interim bail in his cheque bounce and debt case. After his release, he thanked those who supported him. However, he also made it clear that he does not need anyone to find work for him.

Rajpal Yadav Responds To Sonu Sood’s Support

Speaking to SCREEN, Rajpal Yadav said, “Please get over the misconception that I need to keep asking for work. And there is no shame in asking for work. I live through my job, cinema is my passion, and I work in such a way that I get four times more work. I work even on vacations. Work doesn’t find me; it has lived with me for the last 11 years.”

Earlier, Sonu Sood had publicly extended support to Rajpal after he surrendered in Tihar Jail. Sonu had urged members of the film industry to stand by Rajpal and suggested that producers sign him and offer advances against future projects. He said it was about dignity, not charity.

After Rajpal’s recent remarks, Sonu reacted in an interview with HT City. He said, “Happy for him. I didn’t say he needs work. I said – Sign him and pay advances because he deserves it.”

Kamaal R Khan Mocks Sonu Sood

Later, Self-proclaimed critic Kamaal R Khan shared a tweet mocking Sonu Sood. He wrote, “Rajpal Yadav slammed Sonu Sood’s ‘give him work’ stunt. He said – I get four times more work than you. I have lots of work right now. Toh aap yeh galatfahmi door kar lein ki mujhe kaam nahi mil raha. Bro @SonuSood, khush ho ab?”

The tweet went viral and triggered mixed reactions. One user replied, “Wo Chod tune 10 lakh diya kya ye bol.”

Another commented, “If he has got so much money and work, why did he issue false cheques? Why he is not paying Rs. 9 crore to the person who lent him the money in good faith? Rajpal Yadav seems to enjoy cheating people.”

A third user said, “Kaam mil raha hai toh paisa kahan ja raha hai? Genuine question.”

About Rajpal Yadav Debt Case

For those unaware, Rajpal Yadav’s legal case dates back to 2010. He had taken a loan of Rs 5 crore from M/s Murali Projects Pvt Ltd to produce his film Ata Pata Laapata. The film failed at the box office, and repayment issues later led to a long legal battle.

In 2018, a Magistrate court convicted Rajpal and his wife Radha in a cheque bounce case and sentenced him to six months in jail. The Sessions Court upheld the decision in 2019. Later, the Delhi High Court temporarily suspended his sentence in June 2024 and asked him to take genuine steps to clear nearly Rs 9 crore in dues. However, on February 2 this year, the court ordered him to surrender, stating that he had failed to honour repayment commitments. After being in jail for some days, he got a bail and the next hearing is set to take place in the coming days.

Anurag Dhanda: Saheli Pink Smart Card Row Sparks Political War in Delhi

A political controversy has erupted in Delhi over the newly announced ‘Saheli Pink Smart Card’ scheme for free bus travel for women. AAP leader Anurag Dhanda questioned the necessity of introducing a smart card system, alleging irregularities in the implementation process.

Anurag Dhanda: Saheli Pink Smart Card Row Sparks Political War

Dhanda stated that free bus travel for women was already introduced years ago by former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. He argued that issuing pink smart cards raises questions about transparency, asking why a company is being paid “hundreds of crores” for card issuance when eligibility is already identifiable.

Delhi unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party defended the initiative

He further demanded a probe into what he termed a potential “scam,” targeting the current Delhi government led by Chief Minister Rekha Gupta. According to Dhanda, the move appears unnecessary and financially questionable.

Meanwhile, the Delhi unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party defended the initiative, describing it as a major Holi gift for women in the capital. The BJP said the Saheli Pink Smart Card aims to ensure safer, more streamlined, and dignified travel for women, branding it as a step toward empowering “Nari Shakti” in a developed Delhi.

Party representatives claimed the smart card system would modernise ticketing, improve accountability, and enhance security tracking within the public transport network.

The issue has quickly turned into a fresh flashpoint between AAP and BJP in the national capital, with both sides trading accusations over governance, transparency, and women-centric welfare schemes. Political observers say the debate is likely to intensify in the coming weeks as implementation details of the card-based system become clearer.

During the session, the Chief Minister listened to complaints related to revenue disputes, police matters, healthcare assistance, pensions, and other welfare schemes. He directed concerned officials to ensure time-bound, transparent, and effective resolution of the issues raised.

Officials present at the programme were instructed to treat each complaint with sensitivity and urgency. The Chief Minister emphasised that public service must reflect accountability and responsiveness, adding that governance should move “from public dedication to public welfare.”

According to government sources, such Janta Darshan programmes aim to bridge the gap between the administration and citizens by providing a direct platform for grievance redressal. Senior district and departmental officers were asked to submit follow-up reports on the actions taken.

The initiative forms part of the state government’s broader outreach strategy, ensuring that citizens from remote areas also receive direct access to the highest level of administration for resolution of their concerns.

Officials said special arrangements were made at the venue to streamline the grievance submission process, including dedicated counters for women, senior citizens, and persons with disabilities. Representatives from key departments such as revenue, police, social welfare, health, and rural development were present to take immediate note of complaints and initiate on-the-spot action wherever possible.

The Chief Minister also reviewed the status of previously submitted applications and sought updates from officials on pending matters. He reiterated that delays in addressing public grievances would not be tolerated and that accountability would be fixed in cases of negligence.

Sources in the administration stated that several applicants received immediate assurances regarding financial aid for medical treatment, land dispute verification, and inclusion in welfare schemes. Instructions were issued to district magistrates and superintendents of police to personally monitor sensitive cases.

Bhagwant Mann Continuing its aggressive anti-drug campaign under #YudhNashianVirudh, Punjab Police on Day 366 arrested 92 drug smugglers during statewide operations. The action was carried out in coordination with Anti-Narcotics Task Force Punjab as part of intensified enforcement drives across multiple districts.

Bhagwant Mann: Punjab Police Intensifies Crackdown on Day 366 of #YudhNashianVirudh

According to official data, the police recovered 1.2 kg heroin, 3 kg opium, 11 kg poppy husk, 635 intoxicant tablets/capsules, and ₹4,720 in suspected drug money during the raids. Authorities confirmed that several coordinated search operations were conducted simultaneously at identified hotspots to dismantle supply networks.

Officials further stated that alongside enforcement measures, the department continues to prioritise rehabilitation. On Day 366, 22 individuals were counselled and motivated to undergo de-addiction and rehabilitation treatment, highlighting the dual strategy of strict action against traffickers and support for victims of substance abuse.

With the latest arrests, the cumulative number of drug smugglers apprehended during the 366-day campaign has reached 51,856, marking one of the largest sustained anti-narcotics operations in the state’s recent history.

Senior officers reiterated that the crackdown will continue with full force, with intelligence-based operations, community awareness initiatives, and inter-agency coordination forming key pillars of the ongoing drive to curb drug trafficking across Punjab.

Senior officers reiterated that the crackdown will continue with full force

Officials said the intensified campaign is being supported by advanced surveillance methods, including data-driven intelligence analysis and close coordination with district police units. Checkpoints have been strengthened along inter-state borders to curb the inflow of narcotics, while special teams are monitoring repeat offenders and organised smuggling networks.

Senior officers emphasised that the fight against drugs is not limited to arrests alone. Awareness drives are being conducted in schools, colleges, and rural communities to educate youth about the harmful effects of substance abuse. Police representatives are also engaging with village panchayats and local leaders to build community-level vigilance and encourage timely reporting of suspicious activities.

Authorities added that financial investigations are being carried out to trace and freeze assets acquired through illegal drug trade. By targeting the economic backbone of trafficking networks, the department aims to dismantle the supply chain permanently rather than merely intercept individual consignments.

Newlyweds Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda are still trending, and their stunning Sangeet photos are the latest one to grab attention. Just days after their wedding on February 26 at ITC Mementos Udaipur, the couple shared new pictures from their pre-wedding celebration. Social media has been buzzing ever since.

The Sangeet was held on February 24 at the same royal venue in Udaipur. It was an intimate gathering with close friends and family. However, the celebration was full of energy. There was dancing, laughter and emotional speeches. The photos show how much the couple enjoyed the night.

Rashmika Mandanna-Vijay Deverakonda Share Pics From Their Sangeet Ceremony

Sharing the pictures, Vijay Deverakonda wrote, “Our Sangeeth night. The evening that was spent laughing till we had tears, dancing till the arches of our feet hurt, swallowing emotions to everyone’s speeches and surprises till our eyes were leaking. Was a big happy party filled with beautiful people.”

As soon as the pictures went viral, Reddit users began sharing their reactions. Many praised Vijay’s royal look and Rashmika’s elegance. One user wrote, “Rashmika is pretty, but Vijay’s looks are amazing, especially the maharaja style at the wedding. He should model for Sabyasachi.”

Another commented, “Vijay should be Ram! He looks surreal.” A third user said, “Ranbir looks like formula milk fed ram.” One more added, “They should have played Ram n Sita.”

Ranbir Kapoor’s casting in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana has faced criticism in the past. Some users revisited his 2011 interview in which he described himself as a “big beef guy”. They questioned whether he is the right choice to play a respected Hindu deity.

Veteran actor Mukesh Khanna also raised concerns. He reportedly said that Kapoor’s recent roles and public image may not match the ideal image of Maryada Purushottam. In addition, leaked set photos of the film were criticised online. Many compared the look to the 2023 film Adipurush.

Virosh’s Bedazzling Sangeet Looks Steal The Spotlight

For their Sangeet night, the couple chose custom outfits by designer duo Falguni Shane Peacock India. Their looks combined glamour with a royal touch.

Rashmika wore a sparkling silver lehenga that shone under the lights. The outfit featured detailed work and a flowing cape. She paired it with heavy diamond jewellery. Even in the elaborate outfit, she danced comfortably throughout the evening.

Vijay wore a navy blue outfit with jewel embellishments. His structured look and cape added a royal feel. He completed the outfit with a bold emerald necklace. Together, they looked like a modern prince and princess.

The wedding celebrations beautifully blended their cultures. A traditional Telugu ceremony was held in the morning to honour Vijay’s roots. Later, a Kodava ceremony celebrated Rashmika’s heritage. After the wedding, they returned to Hyderabad and performed a Satyanarayana Vratam at their new home. They also distributed sweets to fans in different cities.

Now, the couple is preparing for a grand reception on March 4 at Taj Krishna Hyderabad. Many film industry members and prominent leaders are expected to attend.

Rajnath- Singh

India’s defense minister, Rajnath Singh, has delivered a strong, unprecedented warning to Pakistan amid escalating tensions in the region. Singh declared that India has the total capability to execute effective retaliation, which the world will witness.

Rajnath Singh’s Stern Statement

Rajnath Singh told the media that “Iss baar aisa jawab denge ki duniya dekhti rah jayegi.” His statement establishes India’s commitment to national security, enabling it to handle any potential threats that emerge from neighboring countries.

Message to Pakistan Army

The warning was obviously meant for Pakistan’s military commanders who work under Asim Munir because it demonstrated India’s military capabilities and their determination to defend their territory. Singh’s message serves as a reminder that India prioritizes its sovereignty and will not tolerate provocations.

Reaction from Pakistan’s Leadership

The warning reportedly left Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari uneasy, highlighting the seriousness of India’s stance and the impact of Singh’s message on Pakistan’s political leadership.

Strategic Implications

  • India is showing a strong ability to defend itself while also launching attacks.
  • The warning shows that India can handle threats that come from neighboring countries.
  • Diplomatic talks will be affected by existing tensions among countries in the region.
  • International observers are closely monitoring India-Pakistan relations.

India’s Preparedness

Rajnath Singh’s statement reflects India’s broader defense strategy. India intends to modernize its armed forces while building advanced surveillance systems to achieve its goal of defense readiness.

Strengthening National Security Message

Rajnath Singh’s remarks send a clear signal that India will not tolerate threats, reinforcing public confidence in national security and the government’s commitment to safeguard borders.

International Attention and Diplomatic Repercussions

The strong message has attracted global attention, with world leaders and analysts watching how India and Pakistan navigate the situation. The statement may also influence international diplomatic interventions and negotiations.

At Critical Global Juncture, Sonia Gandhi Urges India to Defend Sovereignty and International Law, Rahul Gandhi Echoes Call for Moral Clarity

Rahul- Gandhi

Rahul Gandhi: Senior Congress leader Sonia Gandhi has called on the Centre to defend India’s sovereignty and uphold international law as global tensions escalate. Describing the present situation as a “critical global juncture,” she expressed concern over what she termed India’s perceived silence on major international conflicts, including those involving Gaza and Iran.

Sonia Gandhi said that remaining silent during humanitarian crises and geopolitical confrontations amounts to a “surrender of values” and marks a departure from India’s long-standing diplomatic traditions. She urged New Delhi to speak responsibly, promote dialogue between conflicting nations, and actively support de-escalation efforts. She also stressed that the government must prioritise the safety and security of Indian citizens living and working abroad during volatile global developments.

Rahul Gandhi Questions Strategic Choices

Echoing similar concerns, Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi criticised the government’s foreign policy direction and questioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi over key strategic decisions. Rahul Gandhi argued that certain international trade agreements, particularly with the United States, could harm Indian farmers and compromise national autonomy.

He emphasised the need to protect India’s strategic resources, including data and agriculture, in an increasingly competitive global order. According to him, India must maintain moral clarity and avoid actions that dilute sovereignty under external pressure.

Political Clash Over Diplomacy

The BJP responded sharply to Rahul Gandhi’s remarks, accusing him of weakening India’s global standing and reviving past controversies linked to his statements on national security. The ruling party maintained that the government’s foreign policy remains balanced, strategic and firmly rooted in national interest.

The exchange underscores deep political differences between the Congress and the BJP over how India should navigate complex global challenges. As instability in West Asia and shifting alliances reshape international politics, the debate over India’s diplomatic posture continues to intensify.

Dhurandhar 2 Trailer Launch Halted By Lunar Eclipse Fears? Reason Behind Delay In Ranveer Singh-Aditya Dhar’s Grand Unveil Explained

Ranveer Singh and Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar 2 Trailer was reportedly set to release on March 3, during Holi 2026. However, the big launch did not happen. Now, reports claim that a Chandra Grahan (lunar eclipse) may be the reason behind the delay.

According to Bollywood Hungama, the eclipse on March 3 will begin at 3:20 pm and end at 6:47 pm. The inauspicious period is believed to last from 9:39 am to 6:46 pm. Since most film trailers are launched around noon, the timing reportedly fell within this period.

Dhurandhar 2 Trailer Launch Postponed Due To Lunar Eclipse?

A source told the portal that the reports about the trailer release of Dhurandhar: The Revenge on March 3 were not just rumours. The makers had actually planned to launch it on that day. However, they were later informed that March 3 has a Chandra Grahan, or lunar eclipse, which is considered inauspicious for starting something new. The inauspicious period is believed to be from 9:39 am to 6:46 pm. Since film trailers are usually launched around noon, the timing would have fallen within this period. Therefore, the team decided to postpone the trailer release.

This is not the first time the makers have changed their plan. Earlier, there were reports about a grand trailer launch event in Mumbai on March 5. Later, that plan was dropped. The team then decided to release the trailer digitally without any event.

As per current reports, the trailer is likely to release on March 5 or 6. However, the exact date has not been officially announced. With the film hitting cinemas on March 19, fans are waiting eagerly for an update.

Dhurandhar 2 Runtime To Be Longer Than First Part?

The first Dhurandhar was known for breaking norms, especially because of its long runtime. The film ran for 214.01 minutes, which is 3 hours, 34 minutes, and 1 second. Now, reports suggest that Dhurandhar 2 could be even longer, with an expected runtime of around 235 minutes, or 3 hours and 55 minutes.

If this turns out to be true, the sequel could become one of the longest Hindi films ever made, just behind LOC Kargil, which runs for 4 hours and 7 minutes.

Box Office Clash With Toxic

While the first film enjoyed a smooth run at the box office, Dhurandhar 2 will face strong competition from Toxic, starring Yash. Both films are already clashing in North America ahead of their India release.

Trade reports suggest that Dhurandhar 2 has earned $33,723 (Rs 30.84 lakh) in USA premiere advance sales. The film has sold 1,953 tickets across 151 locations and 209 shows. On the other hand, Toxic has collected $3,665 (Rs 3.35 lakh) with 189 tickets sold across 81 locations and 122 shows so far.

On BookMyShow, Dhurandhar 2 has crossed 196K likes, while Toxic has 456K+ likes. Both films will be released in multiple languages, which makes the competition even more interesting. Adding to the buzz, the trailer of Bhooth Bangla, starring Akshay Kumar and directed by Priyadarshan, will be attached to Dhurandhar 2 in cinemas from March 19. The film also stars Wamiqa Gabbi, Tabu and Paresh Rawal, and will release on April 10, 2026.

RJ Mahvash is back in the news because of a playful yet sharp reply to the paparazzi. The radio jockey-turned-actor was recently spotted during a casual media interaction. However, it was her reaction to a question about her “favourite cricketer” that quickly went viral on social media.

For those who may recall, Mahvash grabbed headlines last year due to rumours linking her with Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal. Some reports even went as far as claiming that she was the reason behind Chahal’s reported separation from Dhanashree Verma. Soon after, Mahvash issued a clarification and distanced herself from the controversy.

In recent months, Mahvash and Chahal have not been seen together in public. Still, curiosity around their alleged relationship refuses to die down.

However, neither Mahvash nor Chahal has ever confirmed their relationship. They have also remained silent about any alleged split.

Everest Masala Test: Shocking Lab Results – Are Your Everyday Spices Really Safe?

Everest Masala Test Shocking Lab Results

Everest Masala Test: Everest Masala is a name found in millions of Indian kitchens. From daily curries to festive dishes, it is one of the most trusted spice brands in the country. But a recent blind lab test has raised serious questions. Are your everyday spices really safe?

Trustified, India’s first and only 100% blind testing certification program, recently released lab results for four popular variants of Everest Masala. The findings have sparked debate around food safety and regulatory compliance.

For the test, samples were purchased directly from DMart. The bill was kept as proof of purchase. Three boxes of each product were bought. Two were retained, and one sealed box of each variant was sent directly to a certified laboratory for unbiased testing.

The four tested variants were:

  • Everest Garam Masala
  • Everest Kashmiri Lal Chilli Powder
  • Everest Kitchen King Masala
  • Everest Meat Masala

Everest Masala Test Findings: What Did the Lab Reveal?

The lab conducted five levels of testing: heavy metals, aflatoxins, synthetic dyes, pesticides and microbiological parameters.

1. Everest Garam Masala

  • Mercury was not detected. Other heavy metals were within safe limits.
  • All aflatoxins were below LOQ (Limit of Quantification).
  • No synthetic dyes were found.
  • 21 pesticides were detected. Two exceeded FSSAI safe limits.
  • One disease-causing bacteria exceeded FSSAI limits.

Conclusion: Failed as per FSSAI guidelines.

2. Everest Kitchen King Masala

  • Heavy metals detected within safe limits, except mercury which was not detected.
  • Aflatoxin B1 was detected. FSSAI has not defined a safe limit for it in spices.
  • No synthetic dyes found.
  • 18 pesticides detected, three above FSSAI limits.
  • One bacteria exceeded safe limits.

Conclusion: Failed pesticide and microbiological standards.

3. Everest Kashmiri Lal Chilli Powder

  • Arsenic and mercury were not detected. Lead and cadmium were within limits.
  • All aflatoxins below LOQ.
  • No synthetic dyes found.
  • 38 pesticides detected, but within Codex limits for chilli powder.
  • One bacteria exceeded FSSAI microbiological limits.

Conclusion: Failed microbiological standards.

4. Everest Meat Masala

  • Mercury not detected. Other heavy metals within limits.
  • All aflatoxins below LOQ.
  • No synthetic dyes detected.
  • 23 pesticides found, four above FSSAI limits.
  • One bacteria exceeded safe limits.

Conclusion: Failed FSSAI safety limits.

What This Means For Consumers

The Everest Masala test results show that all four variants did not fully comply with the Food Safety and Standards regulations. While some parameters were within safe limits, repeated failures in pesticide and microbiological standards raise concerns.

Spices are a daily essential. Even small quantities consumed regularly can matter over time. The Everest Masala findings highlight the importance of independent testing and informed choices.

Consumers should stay aware, check reports carefully and demand better transparency from food brands. When it comes to everyday spices, safety should never be compromised.

Mohammad Amir’s Bold New Prediction, Says India to Crash Out of T20 World Cup 2026 Semis? Pakistan Not Ready to Accept Defeat

Mohammed- Amir
Google

Mohammed Amir, a former fast bowler from Pakistan, has been at it again with his wild predictions about how well India will perform at the T20 World Cup in 2026. Amir made headlines again in February 2026 when he made these outrageous claims while appearing on Geo News, and he brought back the cross-border cricket conversation and opinions.

Amir’s Bold Statement On Live Television

On the television show Haarna Mana Hai, Amir told viewers that “India has failed to get anywhere close to winning any match except against Pakistan.” Moreover, he stated that there would be no possibility of India reaching the semi-finals of the T20 World Cup, regardless of whether or not Pakistan qualified for the same event. Therefore, in a bold statement in Urdu, he made it clear that, “Whether Pakistan qualifies or not, India will not qualify.” He was able to say this because Amir felt India’s failures had occurred against really good bowling line-ups.

Concerns Over India’s Super 8 Challenge

Mohammed Amir has pointed out how strong squads such as South Africa (SA) and the West Indies (WI) pose challenges to India’s success. Amir has suggested that the current form of Indian batsmen is very weak and that, therefore, there would be difficulty for India making it through to the knock-out phase of the tournament.

India’s On-Field Reply

Mohammed Amir comments put extra pressure on India going into its critical last match during Super 8. Cricket, however, has had a different result than Amir predicted. India defeated the West Indies in the last match on February 29/March 1 and secured the fourth and final position to get to the semifinals. This result was a complete inversion of what Amir had predicted.

The Kerala Story 2 Box Office Collection Day 4: The Kerala Story 2 is struggling at the box office. The sequel, backed by producer Vipul Amrutlal Shah, has failed the crucial Monday test. The film has witnessed a sharp drop in collections, raising concerns about its long-term run.

The drop becomes more striking when compared to its predecessor, The Kerala Story. On its first Monday in 2023, the original film had collected Rs 10.07 crore. That means the sequel has earned nearly 73% less than the first instalment on the same day.

The Kerala Story 2 Box Office Collection Day 4

According to trade tracker Sacnilk, the film earned just Rs 2.65 crore nett in India on Day 4 (Monday). This marks a steep 44.21 per cent fall from Sunday’s Rs 4.75 crore. With this, the total domestic collection stands at Rs 12.8 crore. At this pace, the film may not even cross Rs 20 crore in its first week.

The numbers reflect weak audience turnout. On Monday, the overall occupancy stood at only 8.75 percent. Morning shows opened at 6.29 per cent. The figure rose slightly to 8.65 per cent in the afternoon. However, it dipped again to 7.45 percent in the evening before improving to 12.61 per cent during night shows.

Despite heavy publicity and pre-release debate, the film has not crossed the Rs 5 crore mark on any single day so far. Even without major competition at the box office, it is struggling to maintain momentum.

The original 2023 film was made on a reported budget of Rs 15 crore and went on to gross Rs 302 crore worldwide. In contrast, the sequel has a reported budget of Rs 28 crore and has grossed only Rs 15.1 crore globally until now. The gap between expectations and reality is hard to ignore.

That controversy helped fuel curiosity around the first film. However, the same strategy does not appear to be delivering results this time. While the 2023 film turned criticism into commercial success, the sequel seems unable to replicate that formula.

About The Kerala Story 2: Goes Beyond

Directed by Kamakhya Narayan Singh, the sequel was released on February 27, 2026. It expands the narrative by following the lives of three young Hindu women from different states – Kerala, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh.

The story revolves around Surekha, Divya and Neha, who step outside family traditions in pursuit of love. However, the film portrays their relationships as traps that lead to forced religious conversions and loss of freedom. The narrative focuses on their struggle to reclaim identity and independence.

The film stars Ulka Gupta, Aditi Bhatia and Aishwarya Ojha in lead roles. Supporting performances come from Sumit Gahlawat, Arjan Singh Aujla and Yuktam Khosla.

Unlike the first film directed by Sudipto Sen, this instalment has a new director at the helm. The film runs for 131 minutes and has received a UA16+ certificate from the CBFC. It also faced legal challenges in the Kerala High Court before its release.

CM Yogi Adityanath: Ahead of the festival of Holi, the administration in Sambhal district of Uttar Pradesh has stepped up security measures to maintain peace and harmony. The move comes as part of strict law-and-order guidelines issued by CM Yogi Adityanath.

High Alert Across Sensitive Areas

Authorities have placed Sambhal on high alert, particularly in sensitive areas. Police forces have been deployed in large numbers, and continuous patrols are being carried out to prevent any untoward incidents during the celebrations.

Strict Law and Order Measures in Place

Following CM Yogi Adityanath directives, officials are ensuring strict implementation of law and order measures. Surveillance has been increased through CCTV monitoring and drone cameras to keep a close watch on crowded places.

Preventive Steps to Avoid Tensions

The administration has taken preventive steps, such as holding peace committee meetings with local community leaders. These discussions aim to promote coordination and ensure the festival is celebrated peacefully without conflict.

Monitoring Social Media Activities

Authorities are closely monitoring social media platforms to curb the spread of rumours, misinformation, or inflammatory content that could disrupt peace during the festival. A dedicated cyber team has been tasked with tracking suspicious posts, fake news, and provocative messages across platforms such as Facebook, X, Instagram, and WhatsApp groups. Officials have warned that strict legal action will be taken against individuals found circulating misleading information or attempting to incite communal tension. The administration has also urged citizens to verify information before sharing it and to report any objectionable content to the police immediately to help maintain harmony and public order.
