Bhagwant Mann Government Intensifies Anti-Drug Drive as Punjab Police Marks 311 Days of Yudh Nashian Virudh

Under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, Punjab’s campaign against drugs has continued with full force as Punjab Police completed 311 days of its flagship anti-narcotics अभियान ‘Yudh Nashian Virudh’.

According to official information shared by Punjab Police and ANTF Punjab, large-scale enforcement actions were carried out across the state as part of the sustained crackdown on drug trafficking and substance abuse.

Bhagwant Mann : Massive Statewide Action Against Drug Network

On the 311th day of the campaign, raids and search operations were conducted at 313 locations across Punjab, targeting drug smugglers and illegal supply chains. As a result, 105 drug traffickers were arrested in a single day, highlighting the intensity of ongoing operations.

Punjab Police stated that the drive includes regular raids, intelligence-based operations and public awareness initiatives, aimed at dismantling drug networks from the grassroots level.

Over 43,000 Drug Traffickers Arrested So Far

Since the launch of Yudh Nashian Virudh, a total of 43,381 drug traffickers have been arrested in the last 311 days, marking one of the most aggressive and sustained anti-drug efforts in the state’s history.

Officials reiterated that the campaign is not limited to enforcement alone but also focuses on prevention, rehabilitation and community participation to ensure long-term impact.

Commitment to a Drug-Free Punjab

The Bhagwant Mann-led Punjab government has repeatedly stressed its zero-tolerance policy towards drugs. Punjab Police has appealed to citizens to actively support the mission and share information related to drug activities.
