The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has announced the addition of more residential units under the DDA Karmayogi Awaas Yojana in response to strong public demand. The scheme offers ready-to-move-in flats at a 25 percent discount exclusively for serving and retired government employees.
Delhi Development Authority Adds More Flats Under Karmayogi Awaas Yojana
According to the Delhi Development Authority, bookings under the expanded scheme opened on June 1, 2026, on a first-come, first-served basis. The flats are located in Pocket-13, Sector A1-A4, Narela, and include one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and three-bedroom units designed to cater to different housing requirements.
DDA Offers 25% Discount for Government Employees
Officials stated that the project is part of efforts to provide affordable and quality housing opportunities to government employees. The authority noted that a significant portion of flats offered in earlier phases had already been sold, prompting the addition of more units under the scheme.
The residential complex features ready-to-move-in apartments along with amenities such as ample parking space, community facilities, open common areas, enhanced security arrangements, and spacious balconies. Authorities also highlighted the area’s connectivity to major transport corridors and upcoming infrastructure developments.
DDA said the scheme is fully online and available to serving and retired employees of the Central Government, State Governments, Public Sector Undertakings, Public Sector Banks, universities, and autonomous bodies. The authority believes the initiative will help eligible beneficiaries secure quality housing in a developing urban region.
Officials further emphasized that Narela is emerging as an important educational and residential hub in the national capital region, making it an attractive destination for long-term housing investment and settlement. The scheme is expected to contribute to planned urban development while addressing housing needs among government employees.
