Inspirational Story: The UPSC exam is unquestionably one of the most prominent and sought-after tests in India. Every year, thousands of UPSC applicants from all over India register for the exam with the hopes of passing and becoming IAS officers, but only a select number of them are successful. We will discuss IAS Rukmani Riar’s success story in this article.

Rukmani Riar’s Journey to IAS Success

IAS official Rukmani Riar struggled academically in her early years and failed class six. IAS official Rukmani Riar completed her education in Gurdaspurm before enrolling in Class 4 at Dalhousie’s Sacred Heart School. Rukmani Rair, an IAS officer, received a social science degree from Guru Nanak Dev University in Amritsar. She studied social sciences at the Tata Institute in Mumbai for her master’s degree. Rukmani Rair, an IAS official, completed her coursework at TISS in Mumbai and then interned with organisations like Ashodaya in Mysore and Annapurna Mahila Mandal in Mumbai. Rukmani Rair opted to take the UPSC exam after becoming interested in the public service while working with the NGO.

Rukmani Riar’s Remarkable Achievement

Rukmani Riar, an IAS officer, passed the UPSC test on her first try and received an AIR 2 in 2011. Notably, IAS officer Rukmani Rair passed the UPSC exam with independent study rather of enrolling in any coaching. From sixth to twelfth grades, IAS officer Rukmani Riar used NCERT textbooks and routinely read newspapers and periodicals.
