Vande Bharat Train: Indian Railways has introduced a special Vande Bharat Train between Delhi and Patna just in time for Holi celebrations. This is India’s longest-distance Vande Bharat Train, designed to ensure a faster and more comfortable journey for passengers traveling home for the festival. The train will complete the journey in approximately 12 hours, stopping at key stations across Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. Running until March 21, 2025, this Delhi-Patna Vande Bharat Train aims to ease the festive rush, similar to the service provided last year during Chhath Puja.

Delhi-Patna Vande Bharat Train to Manage Holi Travel Rush

Every year, thousands of people from Bihar and Uttar Pradesh return home to celebrate Holi, leading to a massive demand for train tickets. To accommodate this surge, Indian Railways has launched this special Vande Bharat Train between Delhi and Patna. Notably, this is not the first time a Vande Bharat Train has operated on this route, as a similar service was introduced during Chhath Puja last year.

The train, numbered 02436/02435, will stop at multiple major stations, providing a convenient and high-speed travel option for passengers.

Delhi-Patna Vande Bharat Train Fare 

Traveling on this premium Vande Bharat Train comes at a higher cost compared to other express trains. The ticket prices are as follows:

• AC Chair Car Fare: ₹2,575
• Executive Chair Car Fare: ₹4,655

This makes it more expensive than Rajdhani Express and Tejas Express First AC fares, making it the costliest train on the Delhi-Patna route.
