As per reports, the complaint was registered by Paswan in connection with the remarks made by Swatantra Bharadwaj regarding the alleged assault. The controversy erupted after Bharadwaj talked about the case in a podcast episode where he allegedly mentioned the names of Chirag Paswan and BJP leader Kapil Mishra. Paswan has raised objection to his name being used in connection with this alleged assault and reiterated that meeting a person doesn’t always mean that the political leader knows him.
