The Madhya Pradesh government led by Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has highlighted the state’s expanding road infrastructure, emphasizing its role in accelerating development.
According to official information shared by Madhya Pradesh Jansampark Department, the state now has a road network exceeding 5 lakh kilometres, reflecting significant growth in connectivity across regions.
Mohan Yadav: Extensive highway network
The state also has 48 national highways, which play a crucial role in linking major cities, industrial hubs, and rural areas, facilitating smoother movement of goods and passengers.
Boost to economic development
Improved road connectivity is seen as a key driver of economic growth, enabling better access to markets, reducing transportation costs, and attracting investments in sectors such as agriculture, industry, and tourism.
