Weather Update April 26 2026: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted widespread rainfall along with violent thunderstorms, lightning and gusty winds over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Assam, Sikkim and northeast.

Weather Update April 26 2026-Uttarakhand, Jammu & Kashmir And Himachal Pradesh Weather Update

Moderate rainfall/snowfall with thunderstorms, lightning and gusty winds with speed reaching 30-50 kmph is likely over Jammu-Kashmir-Ladakh-Gilgit-Baltistan-Muzaffarabad.

Guptkashi, Jaspur, Joshimath, Budgam, Ganderbal, Handwara, Kargil, Khatima, Laksar, Lohaghat, Narendranagar and Purola may receive rainfall and even snowfall in some places.

Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab and Haryana and Weather Update

Kanina, Ladwa, Loharu, Ganaur, Hansi, Hathin, Julana, Kalanaur, Naraingarh, Narnaund, Nilokheri, Pataudi and Rani are likely to witness summer-like conditions, much before the hot months of May to July.

Garhshankar, Goraya, Jaitu, Khamanon, Dasuya, Dera Baba Nanak, Dhariwal, Dirba, Lehragaga, Machhiwara, Majitha, Maloud and Moona are also likely to witness similar weather conditions.

Bansur, Bari Sadri, Behror, Atru, Bagru, Balotra, Bandikui, Chhabra, Chomu, Deoli, Dudu, Fatehnagar, Kekri, Khandela and Kishangarh Renwal are likely to witness an increase of 2-4 degrees Celsius in maximum temperature.

Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan Weather Update

Neemuch, Bhopal, Indore, Jabalpur, Khandwa, Burhanpur, Morena, Satna, Singrauli, Hoshangabad, Shivpuri, Sehore, Ratlam, Vidisha, Guna, Chhindwara and Rewa are likely to experience an increase in maximum temperatures by 2-5 degrees Celsius.

Hanumangarh, Sri Ganganagar, Jhalawar, Dholpur, Karauli, Pratapgarh, Rajsamand, Barmer, Jaisalmer, Pali, Sirohi, Tonk, Bundi, Baran, Dungarpur, Churu, Nagaur, Jalore, Sawai Madhopur and Banswara are also likely to witness similar weather conditions. Residents are advised to avoid afternoon travel and stay hydrated.
