Weather Update May 12 2026: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted that the states of Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan may re-witness rain showers. A yellow rain alert has been issued for the northern states along with a warning for moderate to heavy rainfall in the states of Uttarakhand, Jammu & Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh.
Northeastern states of Assam, Mizoram, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland and Manipur are expected to witness heavy to extremely heavy rainfall along with landslides in some places.

Agra, Meerut, Muzaffarnagar, Greater Noida, Noida, Kannauj, Shahdara, east Delhi, south Delhi, southeast Delhi, north Delhi and central Delhi along with southwest Delhi, parts of west Delhi, Gurugram and Faridabad may witness light to moderate rainfall.
