Weather Update March 21 2026: Several parts of Delhi, Noida, Ghaziabad and Meerut are likely to experience moderate to heavy rainfall with violent thunderstorms, especially during early morning and late evening or night hours.

Weather Update March 21 2026: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted widespread rainfall, gusty winds and thunderstorms across several parts of the country.

Heavy rainfall is likely to prevail over southern states such as Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu along with Northeastern states of Nagaland, Meghalaya, Tripura, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Mizoram.

Weather Update March 21 2026: Delhi, Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan

Amritsar, Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Patiala, Bathinda, Mohali, Pathankot, Hoshiarpur, Moga, Firozpur, Kapurthala, Sangrur, Barnala, Faridkot and Gurdaspur are likely to experience high-speed winds, hailstorms and moderate to heavy rainfall.

Several  parts of Delhi, Noida, Ghaziabad and Meerut are likely to experience moderate to heavy rainfall with violent thunderstorms, especially during early morning and late evening or night hours.

Gurgaon, Faridabad, Panipat, Ambala, Karnal, Hisar, Rohtak, Sonipat, Yamunanagar, Panchkula, Bhiwani, Sirsa, Kurukshetra, Rewari and Jhajjar are likely to witness scattered rainfall and thunderstorms.

Jaipur, Udaipur, Jodhpur, Kota, Ajmer, Bikaner, Alwar, Bharatpur, Sikar, Pali, Bhilwara, Chittorgarh, Hanumangarh, Sri Ganganagar and Bundi may witness thundersqualls and high winds.

Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir and Ladkah

Srinagar, Jammu, Anantnag, Baramulla, Udhampur, Kupwara, Pulwama, Kathua, Sopore, Kulgam, Poonch, Rajouri, Bandipora, Ganderbal and Shopian may experience moderate to heavy snowfall in many areas.

Dehradun, Haridwar, Rishikesh, Nainital, Haldwani, Roorkee, Almora, Pithoragarh, Rudrapur, Kashipur, Mussoorie, Tehri, Bageshwar, Champawat, Uttarkashi are likely to witness the same weather conditions.

Shimla, Manali, Dharamshala, Mandi, Solan, Kullu, Hamirpur, Chamba, Bilaspur, Una, Nahan, Kangra, Palampur, Sundernagar and Keylong may notice bone-chilling weather conditions along with moderate to heavy rainfall with snowfall in many places.

Weather Update March 21 2026: Madhya Pradesh Weather Update

Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior, Jabalpur, Ujjain, Sagar, Rewa, Satna, Ratlam, Dewas, Burhanpur, Khandwa, Vidisha, Chhindwara and Shivpuri may witness a gradual decrease in maximum temperatures. There is a possibility of light to moderate rainfall in some of these areas.
