Chandranath Rath: Suvendu Adhikari Loyalist Shot Dead! TMC Demands CBI Enquiry, BJP Alleges Maha Jungle Raj By Mamata Banerjee’s Goons

Chandranath Rath: Bharatiya Janata Party leader Arjun Singh claimed that Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader Abhishek Banerjee was behind the killing of Adhikari's personal assistant.

Chandranath Rath: Chandranath Rath, ex-Indian Air Force Officer and personal assistant to Suvendu Adhikari, was shot dead near Madhyamgram in West Bengal. The killing triggered a major political confrontation and allegations of targeted violence.

Bharatiya Janata Party leader Arjun Singh claimed that Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader Abhishek Banerjee was behind the killing of Adhikari’s personal assistant.

Murder Of Chandranath Rath

The murder happened at Madhyamgram in North 24 Parganas district. The personal assistant suffered bullet injuries in chest, abdomen and head. He was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital but was declared brought dead.

Maha Jungle Raj Of TMC

BJP West Bengal CM hopeful Suvendu Adhikari remarked that the murder of his PA was pre-planned and a recce was performed for many days before the murder. Adhikari also claimed that the brutal murder was a result of the 15-year Maha Jungle Raj of the TMC party and Mamata Banerjee. He went on to claim that the BJP would ensure that the state of West Bengal is cleaned from such goons soon.

In reply, TMC demanded an investigation by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and said there is no place for such attacks in a democracy. TMC also alleged that three of its workers were killed in post-poll violence that was allegedly carried out by the miscreants of BJP.

Shehzad Poonawala Blasts TMC Goons

BJP Spokesperson Shehzad Poonawala commented that the TMC’s Maha Jungle Raj and institutionalised political violence have now reached atrocious levels. Poonawala also said that Rohit Roy, another BJP worker, was shot and is in critical condition.

The BJP spokesperson also said that many BJP workers have lost their lives ever since the Trinamool Congress lost the recently concluded West Bengal state assembly elections. Poonawala also remarked that such anti-India, anti-social and anti-Bengal elements would not be spared once the Bharatiya Janata Government is formed in the state of West Bengal.
