Cricket Viral Video: Former India skipper and ace batsman Virat Kohli is known for his hard-hitting abilities when it requires the most. His shot selection during the tough times on field makes him stand out than others as he has emerged as the winner of several matches alone. All thanks to his terrific skills, the batsman is widely regarded for his range in playing several difficult shots as well.
During a match between Australia and India on 27th November 2020, the then-captain once again showed to the world on why he is referred as the King. In the match, the Men in Blue were to chase a mammoth total of 376 and fiery knocks were expected. Though, team India lost the match by 66 runs, a shot by Virat Kohli has etched the minds of every cricket enthusiast since then itself.
Kohli provided the audience with the maximum enjoyment throughout his brief innings of 21 runs in 21 balls as he produced some lovely shots. The Indian star got off to a rough start, scoring only one run off of six deliveries when Australia had the opportunity to dismiss him. In the eighth over, Kohli top-edged a pitch from Pat Cummins in the direction of Adam Zampa.
Although it was a simple catch, Zampa was unable to clinch the crucial wicket because the ball slipped through his hands and fell to the ground. Along with two fours, Virat also hit an outrageous maximum throughout his knock. The Indian captain's six can be argued to have been the day's greatest shot. In the second delivery of the ninth over, Kohli hit a flip shot to send the ball to the stands after Cummins failed to obtain the proper length. The Indian captain completed a bottom-handed flip over backward square-leg with exquisite skill.
