David Warner leaves everyone surprised

David Warner has a history of changing his batting stance while playing cricket. He surprised everyone by batting as a right-handed batsman while facing young spinner Hrithik Shokeen in the 8th over of Delhi Capitals’ innings. Prior to this, he had been seen practicing his right-handed batting skills on several occasions during net sessions.

The incident occurred when the third ball of the over was a no-ball, and Manish Pandey took a single to give David Warner the strike for the free hit. The left-handed batsman, however, stunned everyone by switching his stance and batting as a right-hander. Despite the opportunity, he could not capitalize on the free-hit as he miscued a short and flat delivery outside off by Shokeen, resulting in only one run.

Delhi Capitals, who have lost their opening three games, are determined to secure a victory in the current match to open their account in IPL 2023.
