IND vs BAN: During his playing career, Allan Donald was one of the most dangerous fast bowlers. Donald not only troubled batsmen with his bowling but also made life difficult for opposing batsmen with his sledging during his playing days. Something similar happened in 1997, when India and South Africa played an ODI in Durban. Donald went too far in that game, abusing Rahul Dravid. Donald has publicly apologised to Rahul Dravid nearly 25 years after the incident.

Rahul is a nice person-Donald

In this viral video, Donald first says, “There was an ugly incident in Durban which I don’t want to talk about. We were being thrashed by him and Sachin. I crossed my limits a bit during that time.” “I have nothing but admiration for Rahul. I want to go out with Rahul and apologise to him for what happened that day. I just had to do something stupid that cost him his wicket. But I still regret what I said that day. Rahul is a nice person. So, Rahul, if you’re reading this. I’d like to invite you to dinner; I’d love to have dinner with you.”
