IND W vs PAK W: The Women’s T20 World Cup 2023 has begun, and in the opening match, the Indian team led by Harmanpreet Kaur took on Pakistan. Pakistan won the toss and elected to bat first, but the opener Muneeba Ali struggled, scoring only 12 runs before being dismissed.

Richa Ghosh pulls off a MSD-like stumping

The Indian players, on the other hand, had a strong start, with wicketkeeper Richa Ghosh, who drew comparisons to Mahendra Singh Dhoni, stumping Muneeba. Javeria Khan and Muneeba Ali opened the batting for Pakistan, but Javeria was out early, scoring 8 runs in 6 balls, dismissed by Deepti Sharma. Radha Yadav then took over the 7th over for India, and on the fifth ball, Muneeba was stumped by Richa after a quick dodge.

Fans were impressed by Richa’s skill, likening her to Dhoni. Team India’s fans took to social media to express their reactions. One of the fans remarked on Twitter saying, “It appeared as if the female version of MSD was playing in the match.” Netizens have been praising Richa Ghosh since the video hit the internet.
