RCA deposits INR 10 crore

Following the issuance of the notice, sources have revealed that the Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA) hastily deposited Rs 10 crore with the Central Goods and Services Tax Department. It is worth mentioning that prior to the ongoing IPL, which is being organized by the RCA, stadium construction work amounting to Rs 22 crore was undertaken.

According to sources, both the Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA) and Rajasthan Royals are alleged to have been involved in tax evasion. The Central Goods and Services Tax (CGST) team initiated an investigation upon discovering this information. Sources further revealed that both the RCA and Rajasthan Royals had produced GST bills for the stadium construction and complimentary passes issued prior to the IPL match.
