IPL Viral Video: On Wednesday, during match 26 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur, Sanju Samson delivered a remarkable performance behind the wickets for Rajasthan Royals against Lucknow Super Giants. Even though his team lost the match by 10 runs, the runout which he did against Nicholas Pooran is creating headlines now.

The home team won the toss and opted to field first in the game. They did a commendable job as they managed to restrict LSG for a score of 154 runs in 20 overs. However, many wouldn’t have expected this, until the last ball was actually bowled. By the 19th over, they had scored 146/4 and it appeared that the last over could go big. But, Sandeep Sharma threw an 8 run over, with three dismissals, that completely derailed the last over for visitors.
On the fifth ball, Krunal Pandya attempted to swing Sandeep Sharma’s length delivery just outside the off stump but missed it. Pooran, who was at the non-striker’s end, signaled for a run as a bye. However, Sanju Samson, the wicketkeeper for the opposing team, did an excellent job of collecting the ball on the bounce and quickly threw it with his glove at the batter’s end. As a result, Pooran was well short of his ground and got run out.

RR failed to chase the target and lost the match by 10 runs, eventually ending their winning streak of 3 victories. LSG, on the other hand, registered their third victory of the tournament.
