Irfan Pathan: Former all-rounder trolled by Pakistan fans because of THIS statement

Irfan Pathan: Following India’s 10-wicket loss to England in the second semi-final at the Adelaide Oval, which saw them eliminated from the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022, Irfan Pathan was resorted to vicious trolling on Thursday.

Irfan’s tweet on ‘Grace’ faces criticism

After India defeated New Zealand in the first semi-final at the SCG on Wednesday, Pathan tweeted about the Pakistani spectators who were rude to India. “Padosiyon jeet ati jaati rehti hai, lekin GRACE apke bas ki baat nahi hai,” he had tweeted. This implied that Pakistani fans cannot be expected to behave with grace. Irfan later said that the tweet was directed at the stadium’s attendees rather than any members of the Pakistan cricket squad.

Irfan got fame in Pakistan during 2004 tour

Not to mention, Irfan was the most popular Indian cricketer in Pakistan during India’s 2004 visit, and he came back after winning over many fans. But a lot of hatred is being directed at him this time. In fact, the cricket matches cause two nations to lose perspective, and toxicity and hatred take over.

Irfan hasn’t yet spoken about the online trolls that Pakistani players and supporters are sending his way. He’s presently working for Star Sports’ broadcasting team in Australia. The ICC T20 World Cup 2022 final will take place on Sunday at MCG, where Pakistan will play England.
