Before marrying Root, Carrie used to work in a bar named The Arc in Headingley, Leeds. Her educational background is not yet revealed. She got engaged to Joe Root back in 2016, and that led to a sudden increase in her followers.
Carrie and Joe tied the knot in 2018, which led to an increase in fame even more. Right now, Carrie has almost 30k followers on Instagram. The couple has been blessed with two children, a son and a daughter.

She is a very supportive wife and loves her husband dearly. Carrie constantly travels with Root on tours and never fails to miss a match if it is in England.
